Patara Beach is a public beach in the Kaş district of Antalya, in the Gelemiş/Patara, Kaş'a 42 km area. The shore is fine sand.
Patara is one of Turkey's longest and most natural beaches, with about 12 km of unbroken sand and dunes. Together with the ancient city of Patara it is protected, and it is one of the key nesting beaches for loggerhead turtles (Caretta caretta). The sea is often wavy and windy; it is famous for its sunsets and windsurfing.
