The story of the wreck
The Paris 2 was a French warship operating off the Antalya coast during the First World War. On 13 December 1917 it was sunk off Kemer by fire from an artillery battery commanded by Captain Mustafa Ertuğrul. The ship lay forgotten on the seabed for decades until it was rediscovered in 1995. Today the wreck and the marine life around it are visited like an underwater museum.
